Covmatic is an open-source, automated system to perform diagnostic Coronavirus tests. Covmatic has been designed to significantly increase the speed and efficiency of COVID-19 testing, enabling labs and health authorities to track the pandemic. Tha VRAI Lab took part in the group of volunteers and partner organizations who developed this succesful project.

VRAI Lab is happy to share that our Information Engineering Department (DII) at Università Politecnica delle Marche was granted by Microsoft AI for Health COVID-19 programme with our project aiCOVID19!
We try to join our forces with international researchers worldwide to combat the new coronavirus epidemic and to understand its aftermath.

Prof. Emanuele Frontoni gave a talk for the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union on "AI Technologies and Applications in Media Environments", in cooperation with Tecla System & Università Politecnica delle Marche.

ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union), established in 1964, is the biggest broadcasting union in the world.

VRAI group successfully partecipated at the @ULTIMATEWaterEU kick-off meeting! 2 days with interesting talks about the project: getting to know partners, #demosites & tasks in the different work packages. Looking forward to the work on #CircularEconomy & #WaterSmartIndustrialSymbiosis!

Prof. Emanuele Frontoni was invited as keynote speaker at the 7th International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics (SALENTO AVR 2020). The topic of his speech was "Artificial Intelligence for Augmented and Virtual Reality content creation".

AI-DLDA ​​2020 - FROM DEEP LEARNING TO DATA ANALYTICS is the third edition of the International Summer School of Artificial Intelligence which is normally held in Udine, Italy. Due to the global health emergency, this edition will be organized online from 29 June to 03 July.

It is addressed to young researchers, Ph.D. students and industry practitioners. Prof. Emanuele Frontoni is invited as speaker.
