Michele Bernardini was born in Chiaravalle (AN), on 25th April, 1989.
In 2016, he received the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering (Bioengineering curricula) from Università Politecnica delle Marche with a thesis entitled “Development of an automatic procedure to mechanically characterize soft tissue materials using visual sensors” in collaboration with Université Libre de Bruxelles (supervisors: Prof. Bernardo Innocenti, Prof. Emanuele Frontoni).
In May 2021, he obtained the European PhD in Computer Science (Bioengineering curricula) from Università Politecnica delle Marche with a thesis entitled "Machine Learning approaches in Predictive Medicine using Electronic Health Records data". During his PhD, he was hosted 6 months at Université Grenoble-Alpes, Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble, under the supervision of Prof. Massih Reza Amini.
Michele is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Unviersità Politecnica delle Marche.
